They sold more than 15 million records. They recorded with The Notorious B.I.G. and 2pac. They won a Grammy and redirected hip-hopâs sonic direction. They are Bone Thugs-N-Harmony!Bone Thugs-N-Harmony burst out of the Midwest in the mid-'90s with a pair of massive hits, Thuggish Ruggish Bone and Tha Crossroads, along with a great album E 1999 Eternal.
They were one of the most important groups in hip-hop history; breaking down doors for other Midwestern rappers; launching their successful Mo Thugs record company and introducing mind-splitting, rapid-fire rapping and angelic harmonies with melodic production to the genre.
The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony ö Live In Concert DVD sees the band perform their chart topping hits in a near one-hour set at the Summer Jam '97 concert. Summer Jam '97 is a major Hip-Hop and Rap concert sporting the slogan 'No Colour Linesâ, a campaign for unity, positivity and peace for all. A theme that rang true for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as the group sang Tha Crossroads, Days of Our Lives, and Look Into My Eyes in perfect harmony in the memory of Notorious B.I.G and Eazy-E.
